Hyperspectral sensors are not a new thing. The intelligence community has used them before.But now it seems like their use is going to be force-multiplied by installing them on various drones (UAV, UAS). The surveillance and recon capabilities are magnificient and with knowledgable use this sensors can mean a real difference beetween life and death on field.
